Multi Level Patio Aerial View 2.JPG

Installing a paver patio is a beautiful way to make a statement and add value to your home. Pavers are a great material for patios, especially in Nova Scotia's extreme climate changes, because they won’t crack like concrete. Instead, they flex during harsh Nova Scotia winters, making it a longer-lasting and more attractive patio option.

With an endless variety of colours and styles of formed pavers and natural stone, we can add elegance and curb appeal with a design that will complement any home.

Whether you prefer the uniqueness and beauty of natural stone or the traditional sophistication and practicality of concrete pavers, our team has the experience to build the patio of your dreams.

The Deck Bros Advantage

When you book a hardscape project with The Deck Bros you can rest easy knowing that we will be using some of the most cutting edge products and processes in the industry. These products and processes ensure that your paver patio will last for years to come.

Natural Stone Steps

Geo-textile Fabric – Non-Woven geo-textile is ideal for drainage, filtration and will allow water flow in a paver or retaining wall applications. Its staple fibres are used for soil separation and drainage. They combine high durability along with excellent physical and hydraulic properties. It is non-biodegradable and resistant to most soil chemicals.

Biaxel Geogrid – Biaxial geogrid, provides strength, longevity, excellent stress transfer and prevents failure of the internal structure of landing areas, retaining walls and steep slopes. Biaxial geogrid will ensure the longevity of your paver patio in the harsh Southern Ontario climate.

Polymeric Sand

Improved Interlock – One of the main functions of polymeric sand is to improve interlock while creating a highly durable hard surface. Formulated with binding agents that help lock pavers together, polymeric sand will provide strong and sturdy joints that will hold up to the test of time.

Won't Wash Out – If you’ve used polymeric sand, there’s no need to panic during a heavy rainfall…the sand will not wash out of the joints. And while we’re on the topic of rain, it’s a good time to note that polymeric sand offers protection against water seeping through joints and affecting the integrity of the bedding below.

Resistance To Weeds and Ants – Polymeric sand offers an incredible level of protection against weeds and ants. Because of the strong bond that forms after the product has been activated with water, weeds and ants will have an incredibly difficult time breaking through the surface. By not using polymeric sand, you run the risk of turning your beautiful new patio into a jungle.
